The tow truck drivers keep Pelican Beach moving. When a car breaks down or ends up where it should not be, you are the one who gets it home.
Getting started
- Go to the depot, Towing HQ (marked on the map), and talk to the worker with the third eye (hold Left Alt). Choose Start job. You do not need to be hired at City Hall.
- Choose Get flatbed. It is free, with a full tank, and it spawns at the yard. The flatbed is lowered, and you can change its look at the workshops.
- Press F6 to open your tow pad. Use it to pick up cars, deliver them and see how much you earn.
A tow call
- Turn calls on in the tow pad. When a car needs to be towed, it is marked on your map with a route.
- Drive to the car and position the flatbed behind it, then load it.
- Deliver the car, and the job pays out.
Driving with a load
- Take it slow with a car on the back. A heavy load changes how the truck brakes and turns.
- Do not park in the road while you work. Keep the traffic moving.
Quit the job
- Talk to the worker again and choose Quit job when you are done. Return the flatbed to the depot.
